I’m so in love with the new Decemberists album. I played this song three times in a row last night while hula hooping. This is definitely going to be the album for the last half of summer. First half was Fleet Foxes’ Helplessness Blues, of course.
I love marriage equality! Go, New York! I’m so proud. :)
Another of my favorites. This time from Iron and Wine with Calexico. Calexico’s Southwestern sound pulls at my heartstrings a bit. I miss the Southwest already.
This is my favorite Bon Iver song. He never fails to make me feel nostalgic, and often for something that never existed. Strange.
Today I saw a fawn on the prairie here in South Dakota (or Minnesota…I’m not sure, because the prairies aren’t far apart but are on both sides of the state lines). Isn’t he/she beautiful and precious?
I know I’ve been MIA (I’m ridiculously busy, but I’m having a life and that’s nice). I also know this doesn’t really fit with the subject of my blog here, but I think it’s important.

Day 63.
I love this song too! It’s my favorite song from the new Fleet Foxes album. I’m still super stoked about getting to see them in Tucson earlier this month. It was awesome.
Day 62.
I love this song. I heard this song for the first time at the Israel Juggling Convention last month and had no idea who it was. I had forgotten about it but happened to stumble across it just now. So awesome.
Day 60!
OMG, 60 day mark. Way cool. :) Even though I’m behind, as usual. I’m not gonna worry about not getting the posts out everyday. I’m too busy living life. I’m having fun and seeing people that I won’t see again for a long time. That’s much more important to me than making sure I get my posts done on a daily basis. I will make sure I get them all done, just maybe not every day.
But hey, today I love paper lanterns.
My childhood best friend got married a few days ago. Her wedding, which she and her family did most of themselves, was amazing and gorgeous. Here is one of the many pictures I took of her lanterns. I’m a bit obsessed. =p
